Time Tire Flyer Fun

It's time for bed,
Said her little head,
And her body wanted to follow.

But it's only six,
And we still have to fix,
Everything by tomorrow.

So her body dragged,
And her eyes they nagged,
To stay all the way open.

When she was finally done,
With no time for fun,
A cab ride home is what she was hopin.

But she could not spend,
Must see through to the end,
Her bank account is not full.

So she conquers the subway,
And saves her pay,
The poor mans push and pull.

She makes it home,
Where she is never alone,
And sits down for some tea.

But if I were her,
I'd run far away,
To an entirely different city.

One where you can live,
And are happy to give,
A dollar to the needy.

Not where you try,
Just to get by,
And must hold onto every last penny.

But I suppose the pay off,
Could be enough,
If one were willing to wait.

But Iv'e sometime to think,
While I have a little drink,
My flight to Colorado is running late.
