Tunnels of unforgiving eyes,
Traveling through the unknown skies.
Moments in time just barely passed,
Love at the end still waiting to last.
Justifying the present to venture forth,
To a place where one is more than its worth.
Favorite pillows and spreads of bed,
Cushions of love to rest your head.
Tired bodies and worn out feet,
Test broken hearts to then again beat.
The struggle means so much more when done,
The time is now to soak in the sun.
