His green eyes were smiling,
Making his way down the car.
Not asking for much,
Just our attention by far.
His poetry rang truth,
To all whom listened close.
It was all we needed to hear,
We are not alone at most.
Leaving the train with a smile in tact,
Along came another the same.
Wanting no more than the man before,
Didn't have to give us his name.
Just sharing smiles and letting us know,
That there are caring people around.
And If you're in need of some food or socks,
Just simply make a sound.
Love is around,
Its our feet on the ground,
Our hands in the air,
Our calling to care.
